Vishing, La Truffa Viaggia Via Telefono
Le truffe on-line per rubare numeri di carte di credito avvenivano, fino a qualche tempo fa, facendo ricorso esclusivamente ad e-mail e siti falsi: il truffatore ci inviava una e-mail in cui si presentava come la nostra banca, cercando di convincerci a cliccare su di un link e a fornire i nostri dati per “motivi di sicurezza”.
Le nuove truffe adesso avvengono in un modo nuovo, chiamato dagli esperti vishing. Il truffatore, adesso, manda delle e-mail fingendosi sempre un istituto di credito, richiedendo, però, non di cliccare su di un link, ma bensì di chiamare un numero telefonico. Chiamando il numero proposto, una voce registrata ci invita a digitare i nostri dati.
Solitamente i numeri proposti sono dei numeri di telefono VoIP, raggiungibili anche dai telefoni tradizionali. I dati che vengono digitati sono registrati e mandati al truffatore. Per il momento, gli attacchi di vishing sono facilmente individuabili perché non menzionano, addirittura, durante la chiamata, nemmeno il nome della nostra banca, il che dovrebbe essere un campanello di allarme.
Nel dubbio, provate a digitare dati errati anche più di una volta e chiamate la vostra banca per chiedere se vi hanno mandato realmente loro l’e-mail. La chiamata è solitamente gratuita e ci può risparmiare molte rogne. Purtroppo sono già molte le vittime di questi nuovi attacchi: oramai i truffatori hanno ben capito che nessuno clicca più sui i link delle loro e-mail truffaldine ed hanno ideato un nuovo modo, insolito e non previsto dai clienti, per rubare i loro dati.

Ho ricevuto anch’io, la settimana scorsa, una email della vodafone relativa al concorso vodafone online international promotion. Ho chiamato il 190 della vodafone, la signorina mi ha rassicurato che il concorso esiste e di compilare tranquillamente il modulo. Ma quando l’ho fatto, mi è arrivta un’altra email, dove mi si chiedeva di rispondere al corriere ecc ecc (ve le copio/incollo di seguito). Ho telefonato alla guardia di finanza per sapere come muovermi. Ho richiamato il 190 e stavolta la signorina mi ha detto che la vodafone non fa concorsi con premi in denaro, tanto meno così ricchi!!!! Spero che non mi rubino l’identità visto che ho fornito la mia via e anche il numero di cellulare… Ma rubare l’identità (cd scam mails) che significa??

Dubito ti possa succedere qualcosa,a meno che tu non dia tuoi dati sensibili carta credito etc..
Stai solo attenta se arriva un pacco con pagamento al destinatario di essere sicura di cosa si tratta. Tu puoi rifiutare se non attendevi nulla,magari fatti dire dall’incaricato il mittente del pacco..e vivi tranquilla..!
Quindi magari parlane anche al tuo postino,e istruisci la tua famiglia in merito..

Ho ricevuto anch’io una mail truffa e ho fornito il mio indirizzo. Quando mi hanno chiesto quasi 500 euro per ritirare il premio mi sono insospettita e ho contattato Vodafone dove non ne sapevano nulla e anzi faranno causa per l’abuso del logo.
Mi succederà qualcosa visto che sanno dove abito?
Subito gli ho scritto che il mio indirizzo era fasullo…che avevo capito che era una truffa…ma ci crederanno??
